MY Martindale is a historic prestige private vessel, that was commissioned and enjoyed by one of the wealthiest pastoral families in South Australia in the 1930s. She is now privately owned by the Martindale Vessel Trust to preserve and restore her to her former glory.

History

Martindale has had an eventful history. She was commissioned by John Andrew Tennant Mortlock of Mintaro South Australia and launched in 1932. She served during WWII as a patrol vessel and was subsequently restored before falling into disrepair. Martindale's restoration continues.

Restoration

Martindale's restoration is being udertaken by a small team of dedicated trustees and enthusiatic helpers. Maintenance is ongoing and improvements continue. You can support the restoration and enjoy time on this special vessel.

Support

As a supporter of Martindale you will be invited to outings on Sydney Harbour. We often attend scheduled events such as Sail GP, Vivid, start of the Sydney to Hobart, Australia Day and New Year's Eve. We also arrange outings at other times.
